What is a Healing Week?
• It is a 5 session, in depth prayer ministry time for couples and singles. We often describe it as a “deep spring clean” of some major foundational areas, which will bring healing and also will equip you to continue to walk in healthy relationships with God and others.
• It strategically deals with four main areas
- generational sins
- past and present hurts
- belief structures
- demonic oppression
It also provides you with biblical tools for continual healing after the week takes place.
• It is for over 18s only.
• Couples receive 2 joint sessions and 5 separate closed sessions with the team.
• Singles have 5 closed sessions with their prayer team.
• You do have the same team throughout the whole process.
What a Healing Week IS NOT
• A "Fix it all”~ there will be healing and it will give you tools to keep working on areas in your life that God wants to heal. It teaches you to rely on the Holy Spirit.
• Teaching session with corporate ministry, but 2 on 1 prayer ministry.
• Marriage counseling ~ although by dealing with your own personal baggage there will be a positive change in your overall relationship.
• Addiction counseling~ although you may get to the bottom of some roots of why you are going to false comfort, you will probably need specific counseling and support.
• Sexual abuse counseling~ some areas may get addressed as a bi product of the ministry, but you will probably need focused healing in this area.
• Ritual Abuse or split personality counseling ~ this needs highly skilled professional help and there are Christian counselors who do minister into these areas of hurt. We do not minister into this on a Healing Week.
How much is it?
Singles- $1200 CDN
Couples- $2000 CDN
This only includes the ministry and does not cover meals and accommodation.
Where is it?
Single men, single ladies and married couples have the option of receiving ministry on site at TACF with teams of two ministers that are comprised of same gender or a married couple. Single men and married couples also have the option of receiving ministry by a TACF married couple that live just outside of the city. They also host a bed and breakfast for those wanting to stay on site while being ministered to.
Is there an application process?
Yes, there is an application process. You can down load the form from our site and send it in. We will contact you shortly. Please note Application does not ensure acceptance.
Please allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks from your application process to the Healing Week date.
If you are accepted there is a $200 CDN deposit per person taken when the date is confirmed.
At this stage we would send out a “history pack” this is a ministry preparation tool for both you and the team. This history pack needs to be back a month before your Healing Week begins, so that the team can prepare thoroughly for your arrival.
There is some required reading to prepare you for your ministry.
Just before your Healing Week the remaining balance will be taken.
All this preparation ensures that you just “turn up” ready for ministry.
