To come you need to have filled in:

• An encounter registration form
• Have parental permission slip signed
• Let us know if you have any special needs such as a special diet (i.e. vegetarian), allergies, or any other things we should be aware of at least seven days prior to the encounter date.
• Pay $10 CDN deposit at least seven days prior to departure. Cheques, credit or cash accepted. Cheques to be made out to ‘TACF'.

getting my stuff ready

You'll be staying in a rustic cabin with between four and ten beds per room. The venue is always out in the country to add to the fun of the weekend experience!

Here's what you need to bring:

• overnight bag packed with appropriate clothes for various weather
• coat/jacket
• toiletries
• inside and outside shoes
• Bible and pen
• flashlight
• sleeping bag/ blankets
• single bed bottom sheet
• pillow
• earplugs are advised since it's dorm rooms and can be noisy
• sunscreen/ sunglasses/ bug spray during summer
• snow gear during winter

Please pack light since luggage space is limited!

getting my heart ready

God is going to do amazing things in you life on this weekend and so we encourage you to start asking Him now to prepare your heart and help you get ready for everything He wants to do. Here are a few suggestions of how to get prepared on the inside:

• Make extra time to spend with him for the week leading up to the encounter weekend
• Read your Bible a bit each day and ask God what it means for you
• Give God permission to come into every area of your heart
• Talk to God about what you are hoping He will do on the encounter - let Him know what you would like.
• Pray that nothing will be able to stop you from coming- if finances are a problem, or your job schedule, or homework or whatever comes up to stop you, take it to God and ask Him to make a way for you and clear that obstacle out of the way
• Speak to your cell leader.  They will also pray with you and help you to get your heart ready and join with you to overcome any obstacles.
• Look forward to the weekend - they are amazing and fun and people always come away feeling like God has made their life so much better!
