where we have been
We wouldn’t be where we are today - talking about Daddy God’s love and realizing we live a supernatural reality - if it wasn’t for our history. So here's a history lesson to help you catch up if you're just meeting us now!
Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship (TACF) was born as a church plant back in 1988 when John and Carol Arnott had the God given brain wave of starting a church near the airport in Toronto. The building was near the end of the old runway and so the name for Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship seemed logical.
Back then it was part of the Vineyard movement, and was a church of 200 people, when in 1994 when God showed up in an amazing way. One night during a service with Randy Clark as a guest speaker, the whole building was full of God’s presence that people started falling over everywhere and doing wild things. Word suddenly got out and soon visitors were flying in from all around the globe to get into God’s presence at this little church called TACF.
From 1994 - 2005 TACF has had over four million visitors! And what about the presence of God? Well He never left. The revival that began so suddenly has kept on going, and people have been meeting with God here ever since. TACF has had 12 years of continual nightly meetings, pretty cool huh? There was a change of buildings in 1994 when TACF moved to 272 Attwell Drive and found a larger space to fit us all in.
Our main church is awesome!
So where do the youth and young adults fit into all of this? We’re a product of this revival. We love what God is doing and He loves us!
