Trumpet Call of Emerging Arts
June 4-7, 2008
Toronto, ON
This conference is the result of a year of hearing from the Lord about the emergence of His creative arts people in this season and their impact upon evangelism. God has been saying that the creative arts anointed by His spirit will be a Prophetic, Intercessory message for secular society as well as the church.
Speakers
Don and Christine Potter
Don and Christine Potter are greatly gifted and anointed worshipers. Don Potter is a respected recording and performing guitarist who has worked with many of the top names in the music business including Mark Knopfler, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Elton John. He has frequently worked with Morning Star Ministries in the USA (Rick Joyner) and is now traveling and teaching. Ruth Fazal
As a worship leader and singer/songwriter, Ruth has travelled extensively across North America, Europe, and Israel, and her deepest desire is to see the body of Christ enter into a truly intimate relationship with Jesus, that goes far beyond corporate worship. Ruth honours and loves the prophetic, and feels an urgency in this hour, for us to be awakened to the purposes of God. Ruth says: “Listening for His voice is the most important thing for us to be doing. I believe that there is a realm that the Lord wants to bring us into, in which we will begin to see with a 'Kingdom of God' perspective. I feel sure that it is on God's heart to bring us there, and in that place, for us to come to a greater understanding of who He is, and of who we are in Him. It is time for the Church to be functioning as real citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. This is what I am giving my heart to! I want to learn how to live that way"
Hany & Elizabeth Soryal
Hany and Elizabeth Soryal's passion is to see the people of this generation become revolutionary lovers of God. Towards this end they founded Lovers of God, the School of the Heart, the Quebec Je t’aime art festival, and the “Beyond Words” creative release workshop. Hany carries a prophetic leadership voice that blends the spirit of John the Baptist with John the beloved, pointing people to Jesus and thus releasing destiny and Kingdom vision. Born a Wallace, Elizabeth’s family motto is “For Freedom!” An artist at heart, Elizabeth points to Jesus as our catalyst for liberty and adventure in God’s creative love.
Hany and Elizabeth reside in Quebec with their delightful children.
