We are not recognized as an academic institution by the Government of Ontario and therefore do not have an accreditation number. However credits earned with us are transferable to the following instituitions:
Wagner Leadership Institute of Canada - All credits earned can be transferred and be applied to Associate, Bachelor, Masters or Doctorate Diploma in Practical Ministry with WLI. If you graduate from our 2-year program you will have enough credits to receive an Associate Diploma in Practical Ministry from Wagner at the time of your TACF School of Ministry Diploma in Ministry presentation.
Christian Leadership University - Christian Leadership University will transfer credits earned with TACF towards Associate, Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees. CLU requires 60 credits for an Associate in Ministry degree and 120 for a Bachelors.
St. Stephens University - St Stephens University in New Brunswick, Canada will give semesters credit in their Bachelors program for our complete Heart Module.

TACF School of Ministry is a ministry of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, a charitable organization. Fees are therefore PST and GST exempt.
Because TACF School of Ministry is not recognized by the provincial or federal government as an educational institution, tuition is not tax deductible.
Fees paid to TACF School of Ministry are paid in return for goods and services rendered, fees do not count as charitable donations.
No, the teaching methods used in the Heart, Bible and Worship Modules are geared towards Young Adults. There are no exceptions to this pre-requisit. If you are over 35 years of age, the month-long modules are geared especially for you. We are also in the midst of setting up our online Bible School. $25 will be enough for laundry each week, buying essentials such as toiletries and going to see a movie for example.
The School schedule is demanding and varied and includes evening and weekend commitments, which makes it difficult to allow for permanent employment. Students undertaking out Heart course are not permitted to work for the duration of their time at school. Students undertaking other courses are advised to assess the workload while here before making a decision to work or not.
The School cafe serves a variety of foods to ensure that students have a balanced diet, however they are unable to provide vegetarian meals. Students are not able to cook or store food in their rooms.
Students have one full day off per week usually Saturday. They also have one or two afternoons and two to four evenings per week depending on the schedule for that week.

Health care in Ontario is not free and must be paid for by the individual or their insurer. People visiting Ontario are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan and therefore need to make individual arrangements to ensure that they have adequate medical cover. Students that go on Outreach to foreign countries need to ensure that they have adequate travel/medical cover. TACF School of Ministry is not able to pay for your personal medical expenses.
Yes, however please be aware that space for accommodating larger instruments, for example drum kits etc is limited.
The destinations will not be confirmed until School has begun. In the past teams have been sent to Europe, Central America and North America.
Students are permitted to have one weekend away per month, although this is affected by weekend ministry commitments. Time off for prior commitments such as weddings etc. can be arranged as long as sufficient notice is given.
Core Value Month is a prerequisite for all new School of Ministry students, read about it in the curriculum in the Heart, Bible or Worship module.
Students are allowed to have day visitors, but due to Fire Regulations we cannot allow visitors to stay overnight in the School building. Day visitors must leave by 10pm.
We would advise you to only bring what is necessary, as you will be sharing a room with two to five other people.
The School schedule is full of a variety of different ministry opportunities on both a spiritual and practical level, as well as teaching sessions, worship, small groups and various creative workshops.
A typical School of Ministry room offers 4 single bunkbeds, dressers and a large built-in closet/wardrobe. Each newly built room has air-conditioning, natural light and an en-suite bathroom.
Yes, there are parking facilities at the School.
There will be a different speaker each week. Our regular speakers include John and Carol Arnott, Peter and Heather Jackson and Jeremy and Connie Sinnott, Gordon and Cathy Harris, Chip Judd among others. See the curriculums for each module to see who teaches them.
Yes, all School fees must be paid in full, on or before registration day. Bible module students must pay before the beginning of each semester. Please note, if you intend to pay by credit card, please notify your Bank of your upcoming transaction; credit cards often freeze due to suspected fraud when used outside of their home country.
Due to the volume of students we are unable to collect anyone from the Airport. However we are close by and a taxi to the school costs $20. Taxi drivers will also accept American dollars.

Unfortunately the School cannot accommodate children at this time or provide daycare facilities.
Most of our rooms are for four people. But can be anywhere from 2 to 6.
We recently renovated the warehouse portion of our office building in order to meet the School's need for a new facility. This new facility, the Firehall, contains lecture space, a sound stage, offices, mens and womens en suite rooms, and student lounge areas.
