Catch The Fire Global Church Planting

Vision

This year the Lord has shown the Catch The Fire team that 2008 is a year of "Launching Out"; so we are very excited to be announcing the first Catch The Fire church plant. This will be the beginning of the Catch The Fire global church-planting network.  As a resource church we will also be running CTF conferences, soaking events, equipping schools and leaders schools. There will be a clear emphasis on raising new leaders to carry this revival across the world until the whole Earth is filled with the glory of the Lord.


Catch The Fire Raleigh

The first Church will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. We will start by planting a family church and add young adult congregation very shortly after. From there we intend to plant 1000 churches globally over the years to come through an army of leaders. 

The team will be lead by Duncan & Kate Smith (The Executive Directors of Catch The Fire Ministries). They will be joined by a small dynamic team.

We got the ball rolling with a ‘Holy Spirit Meeting’ in Raleigh in early March, where 250 people showed up to share their support. We shared our vision for the new church and also had the opportunity to hear what God was speaking to the community in Raleigh.  Some traveled from as far as Florida to come and show their excitement that we were bringing our team to the US.  News of the church plant has generated a real buzz and we have seen confirmation after confirmation that this is indeed Gods plan.

Duncan and Kate and the team will be moving to Raleigh from mid July 2008 planning to begin open meetings in September. Keep checking back to the CTF Global Churches section of the CTF web site for news and updates.
