In the Stillness Retreat

We are inviting you, our Soaking Center Leaders, to register for our very first In the Stillness Retreat with Ed and Janet Piorek, John and Carol Arnott  & Duncan and Kate Smith. This retreat will be held from October 22-27, 2008.

The retreat, which will be held at TBA, is scheduled for the three days before the Soaking in God’s Glory Conference.  We will return to Toronto in time for the conference, which is included in the Fee for this retreat.

The Retreat will be modeled after the monastic style, including structured meetings as well as personal private times.  

Our tentative schedule:

The concept of Immersion in the Presence
Philosophy and practice of contemplative prayer
History, goals and structure of contemplation
The use of the Sacred word to enter the Presence
Resting in the Presence
Guided personal times
Worship and Soaking times
Intercession and Kingdom action
